Dave Skaggs

After 22 years of Air Force service as a Technical Instructor specializing in electronics, HVAC, and mechanical systems, Dave brings military precision to home inspection. His quality control background and attention to detail ensure thorough property assessments for South Georgia and Florida residents.

Dave combines advanced troubleshooting skills with modern technology including thermal imaging and drone photography to deliver comprehensive home inspections. Together with his wife Donna and son Micah, he proudly serves the local community while helping clients make informed real estate decisions.

Micah Skaggs

A South Georgia native with a global perspective, Micah brings fresh energy to Next Step Inspections, GA. After completing his associate degree from Georgia Military College, he joined his father in the family business, earning his Professional Certification from InterNACHI.

When not conducting inspections, Micah serves on the worship team at Crosspointe Church and enjoys bass fishing. His diverse background and technical training make him a valuable addition to our inspection team.

Phillip Brown Jr.

A 20-year Air Force veteran, Phillip brings extensive expertise from his military service as a Civil Engineer and his experience as a FEMA inspector with Parsons Brinckerhoff (WSP). His comprehensive background ensures thorough, professional property assessments.
