Very professional and very thorough. I would absolutely use them again for a home inspection.

I contacted Dave for an inspection on our new construction home with a very short timeline before our closing date. He and his son were able to fit me in within a few days! They spent about 4 hours thoroughly inspecting our home and we had the report the same evening. The report itself was very detailed and easy to read, complete with pictures. I cannot say enough good things about them!

Next Step was very professional in conducting the home inspection on our prospective home purchase. Right from the outset we felt very comfortable that our interests would be well represented. Dave Skaggs (Next Step Inspections, GA) came out to our home and conducted a VERY thorough inspection for us. We were having concerns/issues with our home of 1 year and needed someone to come out to do moisture readings and give the house a full look over. Dave and his son were meticulous in their report and gave us A LOT of insight about our home. Dave even took them time to demonstrate how his thermal and moisture detection equipment functioned so that we would have a firm grasp on the readings he was getting while walking through the house with us. He was extremely professional, kind, and personable. A++ from me. Highly recommend using his services.

Dave was readily available when contacted for an inspection as we went under contract for our new home, just before the holidays. He was the first, (and only) inspector we called, and we knew we had to get on his schedule after our initial conversation. He was able to get us in, right between Christmas and New Year's week. The inspection report was thorough, and included photos. It was easy to read, and clearly outlined top concerns to address with the seller. He was able to offer his expertise and kindly made himself available to answer questions afterwards as well. We would definitely seek his services if needed in the future, and would highly recommend him to anyone needing a home inspection!
